About Tombarra
Tombarra consists of 12 self-contained Studio units and a three bedroom Cottage and can cater for up to 50 persons in a comfortable, relaxing and peaceful bush-land environment. There are also limited caravan and camping options and this has been done to preserve the open space and ambiance that Tombarra has.
Located on 28 acres of natural bushland beside the pristine Mongarlowe River, Tombarra is conveniently located only 10 minutes’ drive from the historic town of Braidwood and just over an hour from Canberra.
Tombarras’ versatile accommodation with conference/event centre plus commercial kitchen, make it an ideal venue for weddings, reunions, birthdays, same interest groups, yoga, meditation or whatever group activity may be planned.
There’s plenty of space and freedom for large groups to either work and play together or go off and find your own space and solitude.
The River view deck is a beautiful spot to end the day with either old or new friends, workmates or colleagues, taking in the peaceful river and surrounding tall gum forest vistas. There are also bench seats situated throughout the open forest to go find your own space to reflect or just take in the bushland sights and sounds.

Cottage
Two bedrooms can accommodate up to 10 people in luxury bush retreat with all the mod cons: two x double bedrooms one x bedroom with 2 x double and single bunks
